We are a church of new beginnings and fresh starts. We are a body of people that love and celebrate the Lord our God. We would be honored to be the new start that you might need, the reconnection that you desire and the family that you long for.
Fresh Start Church held its first Sunday service on Palm Sunday in 1996 in Lenexa, Kansas. It was founded by Reverend James Davis Sr., his late wife, and four other couples who shared a vision to reach the lost and build a welcoming, Christ-centered community.
Birthed from a deep call to ministry, Fresh Start was established to be a place of new beginnings—where lives could be transformed by God's love, relationships could flourish, and all people could experience belonging. From the start, the church has sought to unite individuals from diverse racial, economic, and social backgrounds, reflecting the truth that God’s love knows no barriers.
